Which refrigerant does your job need?
Most enquiries come down to one question: what is the equipment, and was it built for this gas or an older one? Refrigerants are not interchangeable — each is matched to a system's designed operating pressure and to the oil circulating in it.
Servicing older AC and refrigeration
R-22. India stopped allowing R-22 in new equipment manufacture from 1 January 2025, but the equipment already installed stays legal to own, run and service. Supply for servicing continues through the phase-down's servicing tail, and it must come from a registered ODS seller, which is why this line sits behind a licence.
New residential and light-commercial AC
R-32. What most new split ACs sold in India are charged with. It carries roughly a third of R-410A's GWP and needs a smaller charge for the same duty. It is an A2L, mildly flammable, so handling expectations differ from the A1 gases, though it runs at broadly similar pressures to R-410A.
Commercial AC, chillers, VRF and VRV
R-410A. The workhorse of commercial split and VRF systems installed over the past two decades. It runs at markedly higher pressure than R-22 and uses POE ester oil, which is exactly why an R-22 system cannot simply be topped up with it.
Retrofitting an existing R-22 system
R-407C. The common service-retrofit route for R-22 equipment, chosen because its pressures sit close enough to R-22's to suit the existing hardware. It is a zeotropic blend, so it has temperature glide and must be charged as a liquid — a detail that catches people out.
Cold storage, freezers and cold chain
R-404A. Built for low-temperature commercial refrigeration. Its GWP is high enough that it is a prime candidate for substitution as the HFC phase-down progresses, so it is worth planning around for new build rather than assuming indefinite supply.
Automotive AC and process cooling
R-134a. Long the standard for car air conditioning and widely used in pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling. New vehicle platforms are moving to R-1234yf, but the installed R-134a base is enormous and continues to need servicing.
Ultra-low-temperature and cascade plant
R-23 and R-508B. Below about −40 °C a single-stage machine runs out of road, and the low stage of a cascade takes over. R-23 boils near −82 °C and R-508B near −88 °C, which is what puts them in ULT freezers, stability and environmental chambers, and specialist industrial plant. Both carry very high GWP, so charges are small and leak discipline matters more here than anywhere else.
Low-GWP HFO lines
R-448A, R-1234yf and R-1234ze. The phase-down is what these answer. R-448A takes R-404A's place in commercial refrigeration at roughly a third of the GWP; R-1234yf is what newer vehicle air conditioning is charged with; R-1234ze is the low-pressure fluid large chillers and heat pumps are now designed around. The two HFOs are A2L, so they need the same handling discipline as R-32.
What comes with every order
We are a family distributor trading since 1996, not a filler or a testing laboratory. What that means in practice is that the gas reaches you exactly as it left the manufacturer, and the conformity documentation is the manufacturer's own — published by the brand, not asserted by us.

We do not buy back or accept old refrigerant, and we do not sell reclaimed gas — every cylinder is virgin product in its original packaging.

How to get a quote
Send the gas, the quantity and your location, and you will hear back from our team directly. Cylinder pack sizes vary by product and are always subject to current stock, so ask and we will confirm what is on the shelf rather than what was there last month. We do not publish prices — refrigerant pricing moves with duty, exchange rates and phase-down quota, and a number posted here would be wrong within weeks.
Supply runs Pan-India from Secunderabad, and accessories can travel on the same dispatch as your cylinders.
